Why we built this

Zanzibar welcomes over a million tourists every year. Yet nearly every venue on the island runs on systems imported from Europe or the Gulf — tools built for different currencies, different tax systems, and different realities.

Venue owners were dealing with POS software that did not speak TZS, had no ZRA integration, could not accept M-Pesa natively, and came with support teams 4 time zones away.

ZanziPOS changes that. No imports. No adapters. No workarounds. Just a system that works the way Zanzibar works.

How it works

One platform, every venue

ZanziPOS is a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Each venue gets its own secure subdomain, its own isolated database, and its own configuration. Staff log in on any device and the POS is ready instantly.

Orders flow to the kitchen display in real time. Every order generates a ZRA-compliant fiscal receipt automatically. Customers pay with cash, mobile money, Visa, Mastercard, or split across methods.

Managers get a full admin panel: menu, tables, staff, reports, ZRA, and billing — all from any browser, anywhere.
